If you're reading this at 2am with your mind running laps, I get it. Anxiety is real. It doesn't care how strong your faith is, and it doesn't mean you're doing something wrong.
I want to be honest up front. Bible verses are not a magic switch that turns anxiety off. I've had nights where I read the same verse ten times and still felt sick to my stomach. But Scripture does something quieter than a quick fix. It re-anchors you. It reminds you who is actually holding things together when it feels like you have to.
Here are the verses I come back to, grouped by what they speak to. Read them slow.
When you're worried about everything
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6-7)
The next line promises a peace that doesn't fully make sense. Not because the problem disappears, but because God guards your heart in the middle of it.
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)
Cast is a strong word. It means throw it. You're not meant to carry it politely in your back pocket.
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself." (Matthew 6:34)
Most of my worry lives in a tomorrow that never actually shows up the way I feared.
When you're afraid
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God." (Isaiah 41:10)
"When I am afraid, I put my trust in you." (Psalm 56:3)
Notice it says when, not if. Fear is going to show up. The verse just tells you where to put it.
When you can't quiet your mind
"Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)
This verse is the reason our brand is named what it is. There's a lot packed into it, and I wrote a whole piece on what Psalm 46:10 actually means if you want to sit with it longer.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
What actually helps (besides the verses)
I'm not a counselor, so take this as a friend talking, not a professional. A few things that have helped me and people I know:
- Say the fear out loud to God, plainly. Prayer doesn't have to sound holy.
- Tell one real person. Anxiety grows in secret and shrinks when someone else knows.
- Slow your breathing before you try to slow your thoughts.
- If it's heavy and constant, talk to a doctor or counselor. Faith and getting help are not enemies. We wrote about why a Christian brand talks about mental health for exactly this reason.

A small reminder you can wear
Part of why we make what we make is simple. Sometimes you need the reminder on you, not just in your head. We designed the Tomorrow Needs You 988 tee around that idea, and most of our pieces carry a verse or a truth worth being reminded of. If that helps you, you can look through everything here.
You're going to be okay. Not because the day is easy, but because you're not holding it alone.
