People ask us where the name comes from all the time. It's not a street address. It's not a random number we thought looked cool. It's a verse.
Psalm 46:10. "Be still, and know that I am God."
Honestly, that verse means more when you're actually going through something. When your head is loud and everything feels like too much, "be still" is not what you want to hear. But I think that's kind of the whole point.
Being still doesn't mean everything is fine. It doesn't mean you have it all figured out. It means you stop trying to carry the whole thing by yourself for a second, and you remember who God is.
That's the idea the whole brand is built on. Not "have more faith and your problems disappear." Just be still. Know that He is God. Let that be enough for today.
We put it on clothes because a reminder you can wear is a reminder you'll actually see. On a hard morning. In the mirror. On the days you forgot it for a minute.
That's really why we exist. We wanted to make stuff that reminds people of the truth in normal, everyday life, not something you only think about on a Sunday.
